ALKEMIST Ultrasonic Cleaner

ALKEMIST Ultrasonic Cleaner is a specialized professional cleaning concentrate developed for ultrasonic bath systems used in industrial maintenance, engineering, automotive and precision component cleaning.

Ultrasonic cleaning relies on acoustic energy to generate microscopic cavitation bubbles throughout the cleaning liquid. Their rapid formation and collapse produces localized cleaning action capable of reaching threads, recesses, blind holes and complex component geometries that are difficult to clean manually.

The effectiveness of an ultrasonic process, however, depends not only on ultrasonic energy. The cleaning liquid must provide appropriate wetting, detergency, penetration, soil suspension and rinsability.

ALKEMIST Ultrasonic Cleaner is designed around these requirements. Its controlled low-foam cleaning system helps the bath penetrate contaminated surfaces while assisting removal of lubricating oils, grease, cutting fluids, machining residues, polishing compounds and fine particulate contamination.

For general industrial applications, working concentrations typically range from 1% to 10%, depending on contamination severity. Cleaning performance can also be influenced by bath temperature, ultrasonic frequency, cleaning time, water quality, component orientation and soil loading.

For higher cleanliness requirements, a complete process may consist of:

Ultrasonic Cleaning → Clean Water Rinse → DI Water Final Rinse → Controlled Drying → Inspection

Material compatibility should always be confirmed before production use, particularly for aluminum, zinc, galvanized components, magnesium, coatings, plastics and elastomers.

Recommended Dilution

Light Contamination: 1–3%

General Industrial Cleaning: 3–5%

Usage Instructions
Fill the ultrasonic bath with the required amount of clean water.
Add ALKEMIST Ultrasonic Cleaner at the selected concentration.
Mix thoroughly.
Degas freshly prepared solution according to equipment instructions.
Place components in the ultrasonic basket without overcrowding.
Operate the ultrasonic cleaning cycle according to process requirements.
Remove and inspect cleaned components.
Rinse thoroughly with clean water where required.
For precision applications, use deionized or demineralized water for the final rinse.
Dry corrosion-sensitive components promptly.
