Uses & applications

Usage notes

For circulation or soaking, dilute 1:2 to 1:4 with fresh water or use neat based on deposit severity. Circulate or soak for 2 to 4 hours at up to 50°C, then thoroughly flush with clean water. For in-service injection systems, follow engine manufacturer dosimeter guidelines.

Air Cooler & Turbocharger Cleaner is a specialized high-performance marine maintenance formulation designed to eliminate heavy carbonaceous soot, unburnt fuel residues, baked-on grease, and oxidized lubricating oils from scavenge systems and diesel engine charge air coolers.

Fouled air coolers and turbocharger blower sides cause airflow restriction, elevated exhaust gas temperatures, increased fuel consumption, and loss of power output. This formulation incorporates aromatic hydrocarbons, non-ionic surface-active emulsifiers, and metal-protective corrosion inhibitors that penetrate layered deposits without causing galvanic corrosion or pitting on soft cooling fins and intercooler tubes.

Formulated for versatile maritime maintenance, it supports multiple application techniques including continuous in-service injection, circulation cleaning, manual spray wash, and full immersion tank soaking.
